Introduction
NRECA International seeks a Customer Service Specialist with previous experience in customer service engagement, strategy and interaction with communities to join the management team for a USAID–funded project in northeastern Haiti. The project involves provision of modern electric service and integration of mobile money systems for customer service systems.
Fonctions
The position is responsible for consumer registration and accounting, “one-point service,” carrying out programs promoting effective uses of electricity, and communicates directly with consumers and community leaders promoting the project, explaining obligations, and resolving complaints. Position also manages monthly meter reading, billing, collections, initial connections, and disconnections for non-payment.
Qualifications Requises
-Demonstrated measurable improvement in customer services for a Haitian organization
-A minimum of 10 years of general business experience; including office computer skills and at least 5 years of direct customer service experience
-Should possess knowledge of communication technology and techniques, have a working knowledge of social media and mobile payment modalities and functionality
-Working knowledge of consumer electrical uses a plus
-Must have a record of personal integrity
-Must be comfortable working in a team setting, and addressing and a variety of community members
-Must be fluent in English and Creole
-Candidate must be willing to relocate to the service area of Limonade, Terrier Rouge, or Trou-du-Nord
