Accountant

Responsible for all accounting functions within the company, including general accounting, generation and plant accounting; maintenance of proper internal controls.
Preparation of entries and processing of general ledger application monthly; review of daily cash sheets for accuracy of accounts selected; preparation, recording and posting of fixed journal entries to the General Ledger. Preparation and entering necessary journal entries; compiles financial information for Board meetings, and as otherwise requested; preparation of monthly Financial/Operational reports and distributes them as required; reconciliation of bank accounts monthly and monitoring daily cash flows; assisting with all necessary and reasonable internal accounting controls; preparation of all local tax reports; maintaining records and verifies payments of payroll taxes;

Bachelor degree in Accounting is required.
Two years or more work in accounting fields is also preferred
In addition to computer skills, Accountant must be familiar with Windows Office (Xcell & Word etc..) and Quickbooks

Comprehension: Fluent in Creole, understanding of French; English and Spanish a plus; ;limited travel, usually within company’s ervice territory

Willing and able to commute to Parc Industriel in Caracol, North-East, Haiti
