World Relief is looking to transition its programs completely away from disaster rehabilitation more fully into development programming, and will undertake some assessments of its programs

revise its country strategy to define its program and activities for the next five years, help lead the process of assessment and definition of country strategy for the future, which will in turn define the profile for the new country director. The person in the interim position will be eligible to apply for the position thereafter.

- A minimum of five years of experience in international relief and development with progressive leadership responsibilities and proven resource development skills, or
- A minimum of ten years of experience in business management and leadership with progressively increasing responsibilities;
- Proven leadership and management of international donor support programs, with extensive experience in strategic planning, resource mobilization, proposal development, management, supervision and budgeting/financial management in a multi-project and multi-funding environment;
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French, and conversational Haitian Creole preferred; ability to represent the organization well to partners, donors, churches, and government officials; and
- A clear understanding of Integral Mission and its implications to the work of World Relief
