THE JOB: This is an exciting new post within the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) division of Christian Aid. The post-holder will work with others to lead the implementation of Christian Aid’s strategy in the region. They will achieve this by providing supportive management to Country Managers, promoting synergies across our work in LAC and strengthening linkages with other CA departments in offices in the UK and Ireland. Advocacy, campaigning and fundraising are key to CA’s work and the post-holder will be expected to be able to support and shape the LAC contribution in these areas.
Qualifications Requises
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Strong strategic leadership and management skills are important for this post as well as the ability to negotiate, network and build strong partnerships remotely across a large region and with others based in Europe. We are looking for good knowledge of the LAC region and a clear understanding of the potential difference that Christian Aid can make.

Annual Gross Salary: It depends on location but will be within ‘Band A’ of Christian Aid’s salary scales.
Type of contract: Permanent
Based: Sao Paulo, Brazil; or, La Paz, Bolivia; or, Bogota, Colombia; or Port au Prince, Haiti or Managua, Nicaragua.
