ACC/MCK Construction JV seeks a qualified individual to manage and operate an on-site construction materials testing laboratory. The applicant will be well-versed materials testing of construction materials and have all the adequate certifications to perform those tests. The work will be full-time and require residence in Port-au-Prince for approximately 18 months
Fonctions
Necessary Testing: Able to perform the following tests:
1. Concrete Compressive Strength
2. Sand Cone Testing – ASTM 1556
3. Nuclear Gauge Testing – ASTM 2922
4. Drive Cylinder Testing – ASTM 2937
5. Soil Compaction – ASTM D1556, ASTM D 2167
Qualifications Requises
Fluent spoken and written English
Strong office skills and ability to produce high-quality reports
5 years’ experience in materials testing in a similar laboratory
Responsible individual able to provide her/his own transportation
ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician, Grade 1, according to ACI CP-1 or equivalent certification program
ACI-certified Concrete Strength Testing Technician and Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician, Grade I or equivalent certification program
