Introduction

Established in 1951, IOM is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants.


Fonctions

Under the direct supervision of the Community Resource Centre Program Manager and overall supervision of the Cluster Coordinator, the incumbent will perform following duties:



1. Liaison with the Minister of Interior and the Mairies to ensure the smooth running of the Census Project in coordination with the Project Coordinator;
2. Cooperate in collaborative stakeholder management including involving the relevant authorities from the MICT/MAIRIES in the planning and implementation of activities;
3. Be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the project consistent with the project management cycle and compliant with IOM financial and administrative procedures, systems and guidelines;
4. Contribute to the preparation of the technical and financial layouts every quarter, according to the project needs;
5. Prepare high-quality and timely reports;
6. Guide, train and supervise project staff;
7. Propose initiative for optimizing the use of human, logistical, and financial resources;
8. Liaise between the IOM teams, Mairies, ATL staff and Minister of Interior to coordinate the accurate input, processing in a timely manner;
9. Conduct training sessions on the project’s methodology to facilitate and instruct the personnel in the field;
10. Any other duties assigned by supervisor.


Qualifications Requises



1. University Degree in Business Administration and at least two (2) years of practical experience with humanitarian organizations, including in administration, project management, implementation of infrastructure and related works;

2. Experience in supervising staff, including large teams;

3. Demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with representatives of government and non-government organizations and private sector representatives;

4. Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities;

5. High level of professionalism and ability to work independently, under pressure and to adhere to strict deadlines;

6. Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds;

7. Good computer skills (MS Office and web);

8. Good oral communication skills.
