The purposed of the Parliamentary Strengthening Program for Haiti (Haiti PSP) is to work collaboratively with the Haitian Parliament to build capacity and support relationship building with constituents.
To develop and produce attractive print and digital materials, a graphic designer is necessary to ensure that all materials are of high quality and maintain consistent style of presentation, or branding.
Fonctions
The Graphic Designer will perform the following functions but not limited to:
1. Develop and design graphics for print materials including, but not limited to: The Annual Report, The Voice of the Chamber (including various editions), and Res Publica, as well as templates for any newsletters or bulletins to be used by individual members of Parliament
2. Develop and design graphics to be used on the Parliament website, as needed
3. Develop print-ready PDF’s for printing companies and oversee production of all printed materials
4. Develop and maintain an archive of images and graphic elements that can be used in subsequent publications
5. Maintain consistent branding and design across all materials
6. Work with contributors to ensure that photos used in Parliament publications are of suitable quality for printing
7. Work closely with the copyeditor to ensure content and graphics are well coordinated and consistent
8. Work with the PSP team and Spectrum Media’s associate, Elie Pierre, to ensure all graphics and materials are in line with the goal’s and mission of Parliament

EDUCATION
1. Adobe Acrobat
2. Adobe Photoshop, or equivalent
3. Adobe InDesign, or equivalent
LANGUAGES
• Spoken and written French and Haitian Creole required. Spoken and written English highly desirable.
