FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordination of the RICSH network activities

• Liaison with various partners involved in the Health sector

• Management of the specific projects related to the network

• Linkage of the network to other church organizations

• Mobilization and expansion of the network





SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the network in their strategic plan elaboration

• Provides advice and support to the board management team

• Follow-up of the activities defined in the annual action plan.

• Ensure regular liaison with key stakeholders (MOH, USAID and Christian health facilities)

• Coordination of the network meetings.

• Responsible for assisting with effective planning, management and coordination of the medical supply chain program activities,

• In conjunction with relevant team members, develop appropriate budgets.

• Collaborate, as needed, with the CRS finance department

• Coordinate and/or provide necessary technical and operational support to the implementation of the network projects.

• Conduct periodic field visits to local partner institutions and government offices as needed.

• Facilitate the discussions between CRS and the network members

• Monitor the consultancy works related to the network implementation projects.

• Coordinate the support of the international service providers and organizations to the network of hospitals.

• Work with the M&E officer to develop an effective M&E system for the project

• With appropriate CRS staff/departments, create the systems (finance, HR, procurement) needed for the creation of a future permanent secretariat to be based in Port-au-Prince



Supervisory Responsibilities: None





Key Working Relationships:



Internal: CRS Head of Health Programs, Health Systems Strengthening Program Manager, CRS Finance department, CRS Procurement department, CRS human resources department

External: Hospitals network board members, Ministry of Health, Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB), Archdioceses of Port-au-Prince, and Catholic Health Association in the USA.



Working conditions:



The incumbent will be provided a shared office work space with desk, chair, computer, file cabinet, and other furniture and tools to accomplish office-based tasks of the position. Transportation for agreed upon activities external to the office are provided per CRS internal procedures and through existing shared vehicle pool.




Qualifications Requises

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Public Health or Diploma in Health services Management
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in managing or evaluating health programs.
• Knowledge and Experience in supply chain management
• Must have excellent knowledge of the Haitian Health System
• Strong experience in implementation of strategic plans
• Work experience with health organizations, consortium or associations.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, French and Creole required
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft Applications, Google...)
