This is an exciting opportunity to join Christian Aid’s Haiti team. The role works within the International Programme role family and is positioned in the Latin America and Caribbean division. The role is key in leading and managing programmes portfolios and partners and their projects within Haiti and a policy framework and coordinating with bi-national projects with DR.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with strong knowledge of development issues; significant knowledge and understanding of best practice thinking and application in Organisational Development. Substantial experience of international development programme management, including of management of back donor funded projects, and field based management. Experience in the livelihoods sector and in partner support and capacity building, country. Knowledge and understanding of principles and approaches of successful change management; programme appraisal, monitoring and evaluation and financial management, working with local indigenous partner organisations
The candidate should be fluent both in French and English.
