Introduction

Plan International, one of the world’s largest children’s NGOs, has been working in Haiti for over 39 years with children, youth and poor communities.
Plan Haiti is looking for suitable candidates for Logistic Coordinator position based in the Country Office according to the specifications below:
1.- Logistics support is promptly provided to PLAN Haiti’s operations in order to ensure effectiveness in Program delivery
2.- Inventory records and office assets management are done in compliance with the organizational standards

Fonctions
1. Logistics support is promptly provided to PLAN Haiti’s operations in order to ensure effectiveness in Program delivery
a. In coordination with Admin Officer make arrangements for airport pick up and drop off
b. Make necessary arrangements for travelers visas and expatriates work permits
c. Make arrangements for workshops and conferences on behalf of PLAN Haiti. Make the reservations in a timely manner and provide all the required logistical support for the success of the events
d. Management of contract services with local phone companies, storage of phone units scratch cards; the Logs Coordinator is also responsible for storage and management of SIM cards and phone devices
e. Day-to-day management of contract services with utilities companies and ensure that related bills are promptly reviewed and processed
2. Inventory records and office assets management are done in compliance with the organizational standards
a. All Plan’s offices and assets have adequate insurance and security coverage; phones and utilities bills reviewed and timely payment made by financial services
b. PLAN vehicles are well functioning and regularly maintained and there is a reliable monitoring system in place;
c. Logistics support is promptly provided to travelers (transportation, accommodation, flights booking where necessary)
d. Generators for offices and guest-houses are maintained adequately and there is a reliable monitoring system in place
e. Ensure the existence of an up-to-date inventory system for offices supplies and spare parts management at Country Office; using LOGEMA makes sure that the stock situation is always up-to-date.
f. Keep track of PUs warehouses orders and manage the dispatch process. Ensure that all storekeepers use LOGEMA regularly and send monthly monitoring report for consolidation at CO level.
Qualifications Requises
• University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Excellent coordination, reporting and analytical skills
• Proven ability to work effectively and successfully in a cross-cultural context
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
• Flexibility, reliability, cultural sensitivity, resilience and resourcefulness
• Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team
• Needs to have initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability and willingness to under pressure,
• Demonstrated skills in networking, negotiation and facilitation
• Good computer and IT skills
• Strong working knowledge of spoken and written French, English.
