International NGO is seeking for Child Sponsorship Officer
Position based at Port-au-Prince, Haiti
Fonctions
Main purpose: To maximize generation of funds to support program work.
Role
As a Child Sponsorship Officer you will be responsible for securing actual and make way for additional funding in the child sponsorship scheme for Haiti. Use ability and experience to implement the organization’s strategy with the partners and use your creativity to improve work processes to ensure quality.
Duties and responsibilities
• Support the implementation of sponsorship related activities at all level
• adherence to quality, timelines, standards and produces and disseminates sponsorship performance summaries and reports on systems
• Ensure an effective record keeping system for processing sponsorship information and timely provision of the status of sponsorship funding
• Prepare good and attractive and reader-friendly supporter reports
• Monitor, review and report on sponsorship activities on an agreed format and frequency.
• Build and maintain up to date all relevant information
• Regular field visits to monitor and evaluate sponsorship
• Prepares all the required logistics for starting new LRP
• Plan and Carry out all relevant activities regarding child sponsorship and ensuring their quality standards.
Qualifications Requises
Experience
• At least 3 years experience in child sponsorship with other INGO or similar organization/entity
Skills and Competencies
• English speaking, reading and writing skills
• Experience in documents production (English) and presentations
• Good Communication skills and capacity (at international and DA level)
• Organizational and inter personal skills
• Data entry skills
• Desktop Publishing knowledge and experience a plus
• Spanish skills a plus
• High standard of computer literacy (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook and the Internet)
• Demonstrable ability to plan and prioritise own workload with minimum supervision
• Ability and willingness to travel for work
