Introduction
The Program Manager Inclusive Education promotes awareness and capacity building on community based inclusive education. The post holder provides technical advice to stakeholders and partners on the development of community based inclusive education strategies. The post holder is responsible for leading, managing and maintaining the delivery of quality community oriented inclusive education programs in the field with special focus on one local CBM partner, Program PAZAPA, ensuring strict compliance with donor requirements and CBM’s Inclusive Education Strategy, reporting to the Country Representative Haiti.
Fonctions
MONITORING & EVALUATION
• Develop and refine work-plans to ensure the timely implementation of ongoing projects for community oriented inclusive education, especially for PAZAPA Program
• Develop and maintain an M&E system for community oriented inclusive education projects, especially PAZAPA Program, according to project work-plans and donor requirements
• Work with CCO Finance and Senior Management Team to provide narrative and financial reports as required
• Ensure regular reporting of partners, especially PAZAPA Program according to donor requirements
• Ensure that donor requirements for implementation of co-funded projects are being followed including tendering processes
CAPACITY BUILDING
• Conduct and coordinate trainings as outlined in the project-plan related to education and inclusion of persons with disabilities
• Support partners and CBM implemented projects, especially PAZAPA Program through organizing and conducting trainings and sensitization sessions promoting community oriented inclusive education in Haiti
• Coordinate organizational and capacity development of existing partners, especially PAZAPA Program to promote their long-run independence and sustainability
• Optional: Provide expertise upon request and as relevant to external organizations relating to community oriented inclusive education for children with disabilities
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
• Regularly review and update the job description of the Program Assistant Education
• Contribute to the selection and recruitment of qualified staff if needed
• Ensure high quality line management to and professional development of staff reporting to this position
• Contribute to the building of a strong and committed CBM Haiti team adhering to CBM policies and procedures
• Participate and conduct regular staff performance and development reviews with the Program Assistant reporting to this position
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT
• Contribute to a review of the country program and strategic plan, revising the strategic plan if needed, in line with CBM Haiti strategy
• Develop and identify new approaches to community based inclusive education
• Identify new potential partners in the field of community oriented inclusive education, participate to educational and CBR networks and working groups. Support CBM Education and CBR partners in terms of planning, implementing and managing, financial planning, management and reporting their programmes
• Coordinate the implementation of activities related to community oriented inclusive education with relevant national and international stakeholders
• Engage in regular field visits to CBM supported Education and CBR projects to identify and respond to program and partner needs
Qualifications Requises
• University degree or equivalent field experience in areas? CBM will not accept applications without experience in inclusive education.
• At least 4 years experience in the field
• Experience in project management, budget management and training skills compulsory
• French / Fluent English required
