Job Summary

The Program Manager has responsibility for overseeing program quality and implementation in Save the Children’s West Department field office. S/he ensures that SC’s programs in the field site are carried out effectively and in a timely manner; ensures effective coordination between sectors and with sectoral leadership in the office.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversees SC’s program strategy implementation in West Department field office according to the 5 year strategy, plan and budgets. In collaboration with Sector Managers, develop a consolidation plan and annual program implementation plan.
• Supervises Program Managers, providing programmatic and managerial guidance and support, and ensuring effective communication and coordination between programs, including ensuring integration and consolidation.
• Ensures effective coherence of program team by holding regular program meetings and implementing regular training, support and evaluation of staff.
• Maintains effective linkages and coordination between different program sectors, Sectoral advisors, and with local implementing and technical partners.
• Grant and Donor Management – in collaboration with Program director, ensures that donor reports and proposals are completed in a timely manner, and that donor and other field visits are facilitated appropriately from a program perspective.


Qualifications Requises

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
• Bachelors Degree in a related field; Higher Education.
• Minimum 7-10 in the related field.
• Excellent communication skills in French, English and Creole a plus.
• Min. 5 years progressive non-profit work experience with int’l humanitarian assistance. programs, supervisory experience
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software.
