Tetra Tech ARD (tetratechintdev.com), a US-based international development firm, has been awarded a five-year USAID-funded contract for LOKAL+ that will help improve public service deconcentration and transparency in targeted communes in Haiti and seeks candidates for the following positions. Haitian nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
*Strong written and oral English language skills and good knowledge of MS Office applications are required for most positions

Project Accountant

Qualifications include:
*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent and experience in Quick Books;
*Minimum of seven (7) years of accounting experience, preferably with a USAID-funded project; and
*Must be familiar with Haitian tax regulations for non-residents as well as for local employees.
*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Set, manage, and maintain accounting system in compliance with Tetra Tech ARD requirements;
*Manage cash flow, track expenditures against budget, prepare periodic reports and cash projections;
*Monitor & control advances for local travel, enter daily finance transactions in Tetra Tech ARD system, prepare local staff payroll and payments to consultants, vendors and service providers, safeguard data, financial records, petty cash, and banking materials; and
*Prepare bank reconciliations and track bank account balances and payments, and prepare VAT reports for USAID, etc.
