Introduction

-Good Neighbors International is a humanitarian non-governmental organization, whose mission is to improve the lives of others—especially those of children—through education, community development, health services, sanitation, and disaster relief projects.

-Good Neighbors has made great strides in its mission by providing people around the world with a better quality of life since its establishment in Korea, 1991. Good Neighbors currently has missions around the world to ensure the well-being of people in need.

-Good Neighbors was granted General Consultative Status with the UN ECOSOC in 1996 and
In 2007, we were acknowledged its contribution and granted the ‘MDGs(Millennium Development Goals) Award by the United Nations.

-Good Neighbors opened its field office for Haiti in July 2010, in response to the earthquake that devastated Haiti, in January of that year. We rapidly launched emergency relief aid after earthquake and served as a channel between donors and earthquake affected community people, furthermore involved in rebuild communities from the effects of the quake. Good Neighbors accomplished successful fruition through various projects; distribution relief items, providing medical service and tents for earthquake victims, construction shelters for displaced people and building public school.


Fonctions

Duties and Responsibilities

Deeply understand about Good Neighbors International
Organize volunteer group in the project area with community people and Operation Department
Fill out all children information in the CMS program via internet
Presentation and explanation to project are about GNH and Sponsorship Program.
Survey and record children information and save as document.
Take picture of children and measure children’s height and weight.
Make Annual Progress Report, Annual Child letter and Dropout Report.
Deliver and report special gift from donors to sponsored children
Report and handle with special case children (extremely vulnerable) in project area.
Disseminating the sharing and learning’s of best practices with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized and confident.
Support all kind of office work. (Skillful at multi-tasking)


Qualifications Requises

Education and Experience

1.Bachelor degree/Diploma/University students (Candidates majored in English or Social welfare are preferential)
2.Professional working experiences in local or international NGO (preferential).
3.Preferably experience in the program of children sponsorship and education.


Conditions particulières

-Meticulous, cheerful and active personality to love and get along with children
-Strong sociability to encourage, empower and persuade rural community people.
-Skillful at reading, writing and understanding in English.
-Good at handling with cameras
-Full computer literate (MS word, Excel, Power point)
-Good typing skill (more than 50 words per minute)
-Ability to travel nationally when required and make occasional overnight stays if necessary.
-Respect for human dignity with honesty
