Introduction

Good Neighbors International is a humanitarian non-governmental organization, whose mission is to improve the lives of others—especially those of children—through education, community development, health services, sanitation, and disaster relief projects.

Good Neighbors has made great strides in its mission by providing people around the world with a better quality of life since its establishment in Korea, 1991. Good Neighbors currently has missions around the world to ensure the well-being of people in need.

Good Neighbors was granted General Consultative Status with the UN ECOSOC in 1996 and
In 2007, we were acknowledged its contribution and granted the ‘MDGs(Millennium Development Goals) Award by the United Nations.

Good Neighbors opened its field office for Haiti in July 2010, in response to the earthquake that devastated Haiti, in January of that year. We launched emergency relief aid after earthquake and served as a channel between donors and earthquake affected community people, furthermore involved in rebuild communities from the effects of the quake. Good Neighbors accomplished successful fruition through various projects; distribution relief items, providing medical service and tents for earthquake victims, construction shelters for displaced people and building public school.


Fonctions

Duties and Responsibilities

As the senior manager of GNH, the general manager will lead and manage all departments (Operation, Administration and Sponsorship Service) by assisting the director of GNH. General Manager supervises comprehensive projects of head office and communities through the following key responsibilities:

Organizing and Managing Office
Implementation of Proposal, Evaluating and
Monitoring for GNH project
Partnership and External Relations


Qualifications Requises

Education and Experience

1.B.A. or M.A. degree relevant to international development.
2.Work experience more than 4 years in international development area
3.Work experience as a management level and planning, operation and evaluation.
4.Work experience in Field work (organizing, empowerment, and communication with community leaders and people).
5.Professional with experience in the field of management, planning and HR /capacity building and ability to guide and delegate competencies.
6.Preferably work experience with multinational group in international environment.
7.Preferably experience in the program of children sponsorship and education.

4.Good command of English (Speaking and Writing)

8.Excellent communication skills with community people and other external parties

11.Strong leadership, patience, courage and capacity to achieve excellent results under unfavorable conditions.
