Introduction
Deloitte Consulting, LLP is a US-based firm that delivers results and creates lasting value by working side-by-side with our clients to develop and implement innovative strategies and solutions. Deloitte seeks to recruit a well-qualified Chief-of-Party for an upcoming health systems strengthening project in Haiti. Anticipated technical areas of focus include: service delivery including basic health services, maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS, family planning, and reproductive health; institutional capacity building; health financing; and health policy.
Fonctions
The Chief -of-Party (CoP), based in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, will provide vision, direction, leadership and management to the project, overseeing all project activities in-country. This will include oversight of project operations, finances, monitoring and evaluation, communications, and resource tracking as well as promoting synergies across diverse project tasks. The CoP may also provide technical direction and guidance on topics related to overall health systems strengthening. The CoP will report to and work closely with the home office program manager to make sure that the program operations are integrated effectively between the field and home-based offices.
Qualifications Requises
• At least 10-15 years of senior level experience managing similar, donor-funded programs, preferably focusing on health system strengthening and local capacity building
• High-level of knowledge and understanding about USAID program management and demonstrated ability to manage a large USAID-funded project
• Knowledge of USAID policies, procedures, regulations and reporting requirements
• Demonstrated management, leadership, decision making and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated effectiveness working collaboratively to provide practical solutions
• Experience working in developing countries, particularly with Ministries of Health and other government agencies; preference for specific experience with Haitian ministries
• Experience working in developing countries, especially post-conflict and/or post-disaster settings
• Advanced degree in health policy, economics, management or related field
• Proven ability to mentor, motivate, and work as part of a team
• Written and spoken fluency in English, French, and Haitian Creole
