Organization Profile: Created in 1962 through a unique agreement between the Organization of American States (OAS) and the private sector; the Pan American Development Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization 501 (c)(3) that creates public-private partnerships to assist the least advantaged people in Latin America and the Caribbean. PADF engages community-based groups, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), municipal governments, and the private sector in the process of implementing appropriate solutions for sustainable development. Through these partnerships, we seek to achieve excellence and lasting programmatic impacts in creating economic opportunities, promoting social investments, strengthening communities and civil society, and responding to natural disasters


Fonctions

The Pan American Development Foundation is looking for:
An Executive Assistant
The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people and programs.
The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.



Qualifications Requises

• University degree (Diploma) in Management or Bilingual Secretary diploma from a well-known school;
• Minimum 3 years experiences in a similar position;
• Excellent written and spoken English and French;
• Experience assisting management with the creation of PowerPoint presentations
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience scheduling travel arrangements for management;
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Excellent organizational, planning and problem solving skills;
• Proficiency in French, English languages including writing, reading;
• Good interpersonal skills.
