Introduction

This position assists in the planning, preparation, and implementation of program activities and provides administrative and technical support to the Project team.


Fonctions

• Assists in logistical coordination of project activities including workshops, conferences, and training programs.
• Controls inventory for stationary and office supplies.
• Scans, copies and filing the finance’s documents
• Manage the petty cash adequately
• Assists in procuring administrative items for the project office as necessary.
• Acts as a receptionist when necessary.
• Performs out-of-office errands as needed.
• Maintain permanent contacts with field data collectors to insure their quality (of data)
• Assist the technicians in managing and updating the market, rainfall and other database
• Performs any other administrative and technical tasks assigned by supervisor to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the project.


Qualifications Requises

• Minimum three years work experience in an administrative capacity.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Highly effective written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in organizing and managing meetings, seminars, workshops, etc.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills, both oral and written in French and English
• Proactive, dependable and results oriented.
• Good computer skills in Excel spreadsheets, as well as Word.
• Good knowledge in database: (Access).
