Introduction

Haven is an NGO that has been operational in Haiti since 2009. Its current portfolio of programmes includes house construction, house repairs, water and sanitation, skills training and community engagement.


Fonctions

The Administrative Officer supports the implementation of project activities by providing administrative assistance to the Country Accountant and Programme Development Manager. Tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Management of donor paperwork and audit files
- Entering invoices and payments on accounting system (Sage 200 in use)
- Filing all relevant documentation
- Filing taxes with relevant taxes offices
- Assisting with legal registration processes
- Data entry using databases and Microsoft Excel
- Administrative tasks such as filing and printing of project documentation
- Update the HR tracking sheet
- Other tasks as requested by Country Accountant or Programme Development Manager


Qualifications Requises

- University degree in a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Previous experience with finance and human resources desirable
- Ability to speak and write in French and English
