Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a dedicated professional for the position of Warehouse Supervisor-Haiti reporting to the Operations Manager - Haiti. The Warehouse Supervisor will support the overall construction efforts in Haiti by helping manage the movement, scheduling and arrival of resources in and out of the warehouse to construction sites throughout Haiti. This position will be based mainly at the warehouse located in Cabaret, Haiti.
Fonctions
Responsibilities include:
*Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining stock records in warehouse.
*Coordinate transportation (quoting, contracting and supervision) around delivery of shelter kits and materials for transitional and core housing to construction sites throughout Haiti
*Supervise and monitor warehouse activities and processes to ensure continuous availability of supplies as well as accurate documentation.
*Assist when needed with importing of necessary materials for programmatic activities
*Ensure quality and safety standards are followed by employees.
*Assist with other related projects as needed
Qualifications Requises
*Associate's degree
*3-5 years supervisory experience in logistics coordination / warehouses
*Experience working in a disaster response and international environment
*Strong written and oral communication skills
*Excellent attention to detail skills and strong organizational skills
*Strong leadership and motivating skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Working knowledge of excel and specialized accounting software
*Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
