Introduction

The Improved Cooking Technology Program is seeking a coordination assistant to help organize a stakeholder consultation. The consultation will take place in mid or late September (the precise dates are to be determined) and will last for half a day. Excellent organization of the event is essential


Fonctions

- Send, post, and keep track of invitations to participants to the event
- Procure space in newspapers for advertisements
- Prepare meeting minutes
- Request and coordinate delivery of services, such as a venue for the event and catering
- Hire and coordinate personnel that will assist in recording, and delivering the materials of the event
- Ensure that the stakeholder consultation logistics are well organized
- To be readily available at all times to deal with problems during the event


Qualifications Requises

Required qualifications:

- Experience in organizing events
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Capacity to communicate effectively in French.
- Ability to coordinate teams of people
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and respond quickly to requests.

Desired qualifications:
- Fluency in English
- Diploma in Secretariat or equivalency in experience
- 2 years of experience in organizing events
- Familiarity with Word and Excel

Time commitment: 15-20 hours per week for one month
