DAI, a global international development consulting firm headquartered in Washington, DC, USA seeks to fill multiple positions to support an anticipated U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Local Governance program opportunity in Haiti called LOKAL PLUS (Limiyè ak Oganizayon pou Kolektivite yo ale lwen).

The new local governance project will build Haitian government capacity to provide public services sustainably, and will support and complement the Haitian government’s recently launched decentralization program. The project will work with 6 to 10 targeted municipalities, as well as national government entities.

Long- and short-term positions under the program will be based in Port-au-Prince, Saint-Marc and Cap-Haitien, and will be filled by experts in the following technical areas: local government strengthening and decentralization; local service delivery - efforts to improve local government services, including health, education, and economic governance; urban/regional/community planning and communal development; revenue and expenditure management; transparency, oversight and accountability of local governments; capacity building of elected officials and government staff; participatory policy development; public financial management; community stabilization and development; disaster planning/management.

Candidates with credentials in the technical areas mentioned above are strongly encouraged to apply.
DAI is also seeking candidates with strong experience in USAID program administration, monitoring and evaluation, operations and financial management, accounting and procurement.
Competency in English required, with written and spoken fluency in English preferred.
All positions on the program will be contingent upon DAI being awarded the contract, and USAID approving all of the proposed candidates.
