Primary objective of the job:

Manage the construction of 68 small schools in Haiti.

Number of persons Managed/Supervised and their positions:

Construction contractors/subcontractors

• Supervise site construction and ensure targets are reached
• Give recommendations to each member of the group regarding onsite problems
• Ensure that targets regarding cost and quality are reached
• Develop and implement internal processes
• Check and approve invoices and support finance when needed
• Perform periodic site checks to ensure construction status reports are accurate and send weekly activities report to CEO
• Supervise contractors/subcontractors to ensure that timelines are consistently met
• Prepare and manage all service contracts to ensure compliance with agreed terms
• Issue Purchase Orders
• Ensure warehouse is efficiently managed, particularly inventory control

• BSc/Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 5-8 years working experience in construction at a supervisory level

• Ability to deliver in short time frames
• Able to work in a team in a challenging environment
• Able to lead a team in a fast pace dynamic environment
• Able to prioritize tasks

• Able to multitask
• Ability to commence work shortly – the job is for at least one year
• Demonstrate Project Management Skills

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Suite
