Introduction

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking a highly qualified individual to act as Program Manager for CHAI in Haiti.

Our team requires dynamic, entrepreneurial individuals with a strong proven track record in playing multiple roles in a fast paced, changing, environment, and who are comfortable operating in a post-disaster environment. Management consulting experience is therefore preferred. Experience in organizational restructuring projects will be an added advantage. This position reports to the Country Director.


Fonctions

The Program Manager will be expected to:

•Manage a team through supervising task execution and monitoring project progress.
•Reinforce strong, collaborative relationships with staff at all levels of the Ministry of Health. Support government leadership and priorities.
•Lead the strategic development and design of all programs managed.
•As necessary, coordinate with other local and international organizational partners to leverage complimentary expertise, funding and/or relationships.
•Develop presentations and reports for senior members of the Ministry of Health.
•Manage communications with appropriate government partners.
•Manage a large program budget.
•Distill strategic documents into operational plans and ensure execution against stated goals.
•Oversee the development of analytic modeling including demand/supply modeling, costing, and resource allocation.

All Program Managers are expected to be well versed in modeling and general analytical support. All employees will be expected to develop strong and respectful working relationships with their Ministry counterparts as well as with other implementing partners and to draw on CHAI global expertise proactively.


Qualifications Requises

•Fluency in French
•Local candidates preferred
•Minimum of 4 - 7 years experience in private or public sector enterprise, with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership
•Advanced degree, preferably a MBA or MPH
•Extremely strong data management/excel skills; strong modeling skills
•Highly entrepreneurial and with strong self-motivation
•Demonstrated success in coordinating various stakeholders/interests and developing strong relationships in order to drive a process successfully

•Strong problem solving skills and analytical capabilities, as well as creative thinking capabilities
•Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and be effective under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations
