Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a consultant for the role of Translator - IDB to support one of Habitat Haiti’s largest grant-funded projects from the Inter-American Development Bank. The translator will be responsible for translating text from French to English or English to French and will serve as an interpreter as needed. The interpretation work will be based out of Leogane. All translation reports will be delivered to the main office in Petion-ville.

*Proofreading and editing final translated versions
*Providing clients with a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a word-processed document
*May serve as interpreter for special events such as workshop events and construction fair
