Deloitte Consulting is currently recruiting for an anticipated USAID program in Haiti focused on value chain development.
Deloitte Consulting’s Emerging Markets practice has worked with governments and donor agencies to build the institutions, legal framework, and policies required for effective economic governance and private sector growth since 1988.
Fonctions
The Construction Value Chain Leader will be responsible for the implementation of the construction value chain objectives, which include: training (both the development and implementation of courses) for both the workforce and constructions companies in the areas of certification, permits, safety regulations, building codes, etc.; enterprise development; working with the industry to improve quality, strategy and marketing; creating alliances between builders associations; introducing or encouraging sustainable materials; and creating business opportunities and sources of finance.
Qualifications Requises
•Relevant experience with USAID or other donor organizations working in economic development, particularly those related to value chain enhancement;
•Technical expertise and experience in evaluating and proposing improvements to value chains;
•Marketing experience;
•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment;
•Fluent in French, proficiency in English and ideally fluency/proficiency in Creole;
•Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•University degree in a relevant discipline required;
•Masters degree in relevant field preferred
