Deloitte Consulting is currently recruiting for an anticipated USAID program in Haiti focused on value chain development.
Deloitte Consulting’s Emerging Markets practice has worked with governments and donor agencies to build the institutions, legal framework, and policies required for effective economic governance and private sector growth since 1988.
Fonctions
The Agriculture Value Chain Leader will be responsible for implementing the project’s agriculture value chain components, including but not limited to: technical assistance in agriculture; post-harvest handling; crop diversification with an emphasis on cash crops; and institutional strengthening of small producer groups. This individual is responsible for being in constant communication with the participants and beneficiaries, and follow up on all activities related to the agriculture value chain, ensuring that they all comply with the project objectives set out at project onset. This individual will also develop alliances with the agricultural private sector, facilitate new sources of finance and create market linkages.
Qualifications Requises
•Relevant experience with USAID or other donor organizations working in economic development, particularly those related to value chain enhancement;
•Technical expertise and experience in evaluating and proposing improvements to value chains;
• Marketing experience;
•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment;
•Fluent in French, proficiency in English and ideally fluency/proficiency in Creole;
•Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•University degree in agriculture, business agriculture or another relevant discipline required;
•Masters degree in relevant field preferred
