The inventory analyst is responsible for the initiation and maintenance of inventory controls, policies, standard procedures and systems to achieve accurate financial inventory information. This is accomplished through comprehensive analysis of inventory transactions to identify problems, recommend solutions and drive implementation of improved practices, tools and policies.

Performs extensive analysis of inventory transactions and reports to identify inventory process and system deficiencies

Develops and maintains cycle count activity daily and monthly to include variance reporting and reconciliation of daily accounting activity

Tests and validates internal controls, documentation and reporting to drive inventory accuracy

Facilitates monthly inventory reviews with sectors, project managers and programs in managing the inventory turn and aging

Monitors and audits daily transactions

Manages and reports on adjustments

Manages internal financial reporting based on internal inventory transfers

Reconciles inventory adjustments and returns tied to community distributions

BA in Finance or Business
3-5 years operational of financial analyst experience
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities
Demonstrated ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner
Customer service skills building effective cross-functional partnerships
Detailed oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Strong computer skills
