The American Red Cross provide support for the various relief and developpement project in Haiti


Fonctions

• Process the payroll considering financial project codes, regulations, unpaid leave of absence.

• Maintaining a monthly complete Payroll’s file including copies of the timesheets by Employee.

• Ensure timely payroll processing.

• Ensure that timesheet report are submitted on time

• Check the request to add /remove new Staff on the payroll.

• Calculate legal severance pay.

• Write memo to claim severance owed to the Organization by Employee.

• Ensure that all final payments are paid to departing Staffs 6 working days after departure.

• Ensure that the Overtime for Staffs authorized are paid on a monthly basis.

• Supervise Assistant responsible for timesheets, administration of the various leave (forms) ensuring updated files per employee.

• Conducting orientations for new staff and trainings for current staff as needed pertaining to timesheets and leave of absence coding.

• Maintaining employees files for timesheets and leaves.

• Ensuring annual performance reviews of all employees are done by supervisors and analysis of performance reviews looking for a value added approach as well as the verification of performance objectives

• Advising on pay scales, titles, benefits, etc. as requested.

• Attending ARC and Federation meetings related to HR on request of supervisor

• Using Turbo System payroll application and reporting to the Human Resources Manager.

• Collaborating with other ARC teams to ensure adequate support to all ARC staff based in Haiti.

• Ensure respect of ARC procedures.


Qualifications Requises

University degree in Management
Human Resources Management diploma
Minimum 2 years human resources or relevant job description and payroll experience required.
Computer proficiency in MS Office Applications.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership skills, teamwork and relationship building.
Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Flexible and adaptable to changing working conditions.
Experience of working for the Red Cross/Red Crescent or other international humanitarian organization.
Experience in humanitarian relief and emergency response programs.
Willing and able to travel whenever required for work purposes.
