The American University of the Caribbean, a private Christ-centered university located on a beautiful secure campus in the southern coastal city of Les Cayes, Haiti, is seeking two academic leaders for the following senior administrative positions.

Department Head for each Bachelor´s Degree Program
-Civil Engineering
-Agriculture and Environmental Sciences

Education
 Master's Degree in education or a related professional field preferred OR
 Bachelor's Degree in a professional field with significant field-based experience will be considered
Experience
 Required: Extensive practical experience and knowledge in agriculture, agroforestry or civil engineering depending upon which position is sought
 Desired: 3 years relevant experience in professional administration, preferably in education
 Desired: 3 years relevant classroom teaching experience at the college or university level
 Desired: Experience in budget management
Abilities
 Excellent oral and written skills in English is imperative; French oral and written skills would be very advantageous as well
 Strong computer literacy
 Ability to adapt to multiple priorities with limited resources
 Overseas/cross-cultural experience desired

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Assure the proper functioning of the respective AUC College including faculty, staff, curriculum content and delivery, and scheduling.
 Sustain a collaborative environment characterized by academic and professional excellence

Position Type:
 Ten month position from mid-September to mid-June
 Part-time, 20 hours per week
 On campus from the hours of 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., five days a week.
 Opportunity for additional paid compensation as a professor in your field of expertise
