Fonctions
The Channels Development Manager has responsibility for the agent network development and management. Additional responsibilities include planning, training, and implementing strategy, roll out of marketing campaigns particularly BTL drives with agents, spearheading new opportunities, and leveraging on network/channel. This position will also be required to coordinate and synchronize activities within the hubs and the other regions to insure the success of the company.
Scope:
Position reports to the Head –Mobile Financial Services. This position is responsible for the development and management of agent network and the generation of sales from agents, subscriber, etc. Candidate is required to develop plan consistent with the Company operating plan launching products on a pre-specified timeline and ensuring that this plan is executed appropriately. Additionally, candidate is required to manage and ensure that all agents and partners in the network conform to all regulatory and compliance standards of the Company. Candidate should anticipate that the required local travel will range between 60% and 75% of total time.
Responsibilities:
• Develop agent management and training program with the teams
• Develop agent profiles by segment in the area of responsibility
• Ensure agents actively generate transactions within budget and delivers excellent services
• Monitor and direct the Regional Sales Executives to ensure that all annual operating plan sales goals are achieved
• Conducts one-on-one review with all Regional Sales Executives to build more effective communication, to understand training and development needs and to provide insight for the improvement of their sales performance on monthly basis.
• Ultimate responsible for the agents and leverage on Digicel’s stores. Responsibilities include driving sales and operations, handling customer issues, and loss prevention. Responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout the agent network
• Identify and secure key agent networks and strategic relationships
• Assist the Head with various tasks in the set-up of the organization including but not limited to, the identification and installation of agent tracking/pipeline and transaction reporting system, the establishment of a agent commission plan proposal, and the generation of presentation and collateral materials
• Develop annual plans and operating budgets including annual goals
• Manage all expenditure to ensure expenses remain within budget
• Introduce and rollout products and related services throughout the agent network
• Identify potential new products and sources of revenues to expand Company’s business model
Qualifications Requises
• 5 years experience in Business to Business sales
• Preferred experience in Banking, Money Transfer, Bills Payment, or related industry
• Must speak fluent English preferably French
