Fonctions
Primary objective of the job:
1. Responsible for the procurement, management and maintenance of the Digicel Haiti mixed fleet of approximately 200 vehicles
2. Provision of leadership and management to staff within the business unit including dealing with grievance, disciplinary, capability and absence issues.
3. Understanding and managing customers need
4. Managing budget to ensure expenditure is monitored and controlled and that value for money is obtained, and customers are charged for services provided.
5. Providing weekly and monthly reports
6. Advising customers on the correct operation of vehicles
7. Ensuring financial regulations and standing orders are adhered to
8. Maintaining a viable trading account and working with operations colleagues to ensure the success of the overall business unit.
9. Responsible for the health, safety and welfare of all staff under direct.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Compliance with all fleet ant transport regulations
• Achievement of all financial and performance criteria
• Maximize availability of fleet for operational teams
• Manage Staff in line with Human Resources policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and welfare regulations and policies
• Ensure clear communications are maintained with team members
• Overall management of the fleet and garage
• Manage the process of driver hours, accident reporting, fuel reports, vehicle maintenance and servicing
• Ensure all vehicle accidents are accurately recorded and investigated with claim forms submitted on time to insurers and rental companies.
• Manage the processes for obtaining damage estimates and the carrying out of repairs
• Ensure maximum availability of fleet for operational teams
• Act as fleet adviser for all customer groups
• Procure new fleet and arrange disposal or sale of redundant vehicles
• Responsible for maintenance of the fleet database and ensuring its accuracy
• Ensuring the financial viability of the fleet operation
• Management of the supply chain
• Develop the fleet, vehicle maintenance units into effective commercial business units
• Produce annual budget and charges to customers to cover the operations of the fleet and garage
• Provide customers with estimates and budget costs throughout the financial yeas as required
Qualifications Requises
• Degree in administration or related discipline
• Technical qualifications or understanding
• At least 3 years working experience in the field
