Introduction
The Program Officer has responsibility for the managing NGOs, MFIs, Corporate and Government mobile financial services requirements. Additional responsibilities include planning and implementing strategy, crafting solutions-based proposals that address business needs, spearheading new opportunities, and leveraging relationships. This position will also be required to coordinate and synchronize activities within the hubs and the other regions if necessary to insure the success of the company.
Scope:
Position reports to the Innovation Manager. This position is responsible for the development and creation of mobile ecosystems and the generation of sales throughout Haiti. Candidate is required to develop a sales plan consistent with the Company operating plan launching products on a pre-specified timeline and ensuring that this plan is executed appropriately. Additionally, candidate is required to manage and ensure that all partners in his network conform to all regulatory and compliance standards of the Company. Candidate should anticipate that the required travel will range between 60% and 70% of total time.
Fonctions
• Proactively develop sales plans and pipeline according to agreed standards, provide customers and prospects with competitive and customized solutions; maintain up to date and accurate sales forecasts per account/opportunity.
• Identify key networks and relationships
• Assist the Innovation Manager with various tasks in the set-up of the sales organization including but not limited to, the identification and installation of sales tracking/pipeline and reporting system, the establishment of a commission plan proposal, and the generation of sale presentation and collateral materials
• Develop and sign production networks including in-country bank networks, and inbound networks
• Develop annual sales plans and operating budgets for his scope, including annual sales goals
• Manage all sales expenditures to ensure expenses remain within budget
• Introduce and rollout products and related services throughout the network
• Monitor and direct the regional sales team to ensure that all annual operating plan sales goals are achieved
• Identify potential new products and sources of revenues to expand Company’s business model
• Other functions of the position include: acting as an interface in the provision of MFS solutions to customers and providing regular sales reports.
• Focus on initiating and developing new and existing revenue in designated strategic accounts
• Seek to develop relationships with relevant parties in accordance with Digicel’s Mobile Financial Services strategy.
Qualifications Requises
• Candidates should have a proven and demonstrable direct sales experience with any environment, the ability to negotiate at a senior level within customer organizations, good technical understanding.
• Preferred experience in Banking, Money Transfer, Bills Payment, or related industry
• Must speak fluent English and French
• Key skills also required are: strong business and commercial awareness, excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, organized self starter with drive and initiative, analytical and creative skills with a proven track record of achievement in sales.
