Introduction
Catholic Medical Mission Board, Inc., (CMMB), the leading faith-based global healthcare NGO, is expanding operations in Haiti to support new program opportunities. The organization has been involved with healthcare in Haiti for nearly 100 years. With offices in New York, Washington, D.C and field offices around the world CMMB is poised to add additional talented professionals to the existing staff in Port-Au-Prince.
Fonctions
Reporting to the Haiti Country Director, the Human Resources Manager would be responsible for
• Providing leadership for the Human Resources function;
• Building organizational capability and effectiveness through HR strategies and practices covering talent recruitment and selection,
• Training and leadership development,
• Employee relations,
• Compensation and benefit plans,
• Performance planning and review processes and employee communications that enhance commitment and retention.
Qualifications Requises
• Minimum of 5 years experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within Human Resources
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Specialized training in organizational planning, management, compensation, and labor relations
• Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and management development
• Strong leadership and people management experience. Ability to get along with diverse personalities across diverse cultures; tactful, mature, and flexible.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills
• Demonstrated skills in supervision, problem solving and conflict management
• Commitment to health and social justice.
• Knowledge of Haiti employment law
• Fluency in French, Creole and English is required
