• 6+ years experience in workplace safety preferably in industrial settings a plus
• Ability to plan, implement, monitor occupational health and safety program
• Ability to analyze and provide risks prevention plan
• Strong experience in writing, implementing and revising safety policies
• Strong knowledge and prior experience/relationship with OFATMA
• Ability to ensure the safe installation and use of industrial equipments
• Conduct and supervise facility and site inspections, job hazards analyses and other evaluations to identify hazards and potential risks and make recommendations.
• Ability to assess incident statistics to determine requirements for new or modified training

• B.A. Degree – Industrial Engineering, Occupational health or a closely related field.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiac Care, and/or first Aide certificate required within one year of employment.
• Certification as an Associate in Risk Management, Associate Safety Professional and/or Certified Safety Professional is desirable
