Programme Officer - Haiti
Christian Aid needs one Programme Officer to join our team to support our partners in the development and implementation of their accountable governance and community helath and HIV programmes.
Christian Aid is looking for a programme officer that could support and manage two of its focus areas in Haiti; accountable governance and Community health and HIV. The programme officer will work with at least 5 partners and could have to manage back donor funfings, particularly USAID and/or EU rules and procedures. Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will be key in ensuring that the partner organizations have the appropriate support in order to be able to scale up and implement their much needed projects.
This is a great opportunity to join a fantastically committed team. You will need to have programme management experience; to be committed to working in partnership and to have a good grasp of monitoring and evaluation. It is also important that you have had experience of human rights, governance issues and/or HIV and have a good sense of how this is linked to development work. In order to work with the partner organsations and with the wider Christian Aid, you will need to have a good working knowledge of Creole, French and English.
