Introduction
To assist the HR Delegate – Delegates Affairs and ensure administration and delivery of efficient and comprehensive services, fair application of HR procedures and provide accurate and timely HR support to internal clients
Fonctions
1. Provide Administrative support to the HR delegate – Delegates Affairs for organising briefing/debriefing schedules for staff deployed by the Federation as required. Coordinate with relevant department for confirmation on schedules.
2. Responsible for processing Delegate contract extensions:
3. Responsible for processing Delegates’ End of Missions activities:
4. Perform the following Delegates’ recruitment duties, whenever required:
5. Prepare and update individual personnel files of Delegates (RIT’s/ RDRT’s & Staff on Loan):
6. Assist in keeping updated Human Resources procedures and disseminate policies and procedures to IFRC Delegates. Provide overall guidance/ advice to IFRC Line Managers on HR related matters.
7. Administer leave & R&R procedures for all delegates. Ensure to give out timely reports as and when required.
8. Hold training sessions/ briefings for staff on the Code of Conduct and Orientation programmes, whenever required.
9. In consultation with the HR Delegate, assist Line Managers to prepare Staff Requests and follow up action accordingly for validation via the Panama Zone Office, whenever required.
10. Prepare and update the following lists on a timely manner:
a. Contact list
b. Birthday list
11. Perform any other work related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications Requises
•
• Relevant HR qualification, diploma or degree
• Knowledge of the Red Cross Movement preferred
• 2 years human resources experience
• Experience of managing & supporting staff
• Experience in dealing with grievances
• Experience in liaising with people at all levels in an organisation
• Experience of working in multicultural environments
• Self-supporting in computers (Windows, spreadsheets, word-processing)
• Good knowledge of database management
• Advanced French and good working level of English
• High level of confidentiality
• Ability to work under pressure with tight time lines
•Respect of confidentiality
