Introduction
Interact with all functional elements to establish and modify processes, anticipate or resolve issues, and determine internal customer needs. Receive advice, direction and assistance from the program/site manager.
Point of contact for employment, training, benefits, hiring, discipline, equal employment opportunity issues (equal employment opportunity investigations and complaints), and security requirements. Plan training to meet certification requirements, interface with Olgoonik team's human resources staff. Use phone, email, letter, and personal contacts to understand and resolve specific employee issues. Ability to respond effectively and promptly to sensitive inquiries.
Fonctions
HUMAN RESOURCES
• Work independently to implement sound personnel and materiel management policies and procedures to ensure production
• control, planning and maintenance management systems.
• Follow the priorities set by the Management for good planning.
• Interact and coordinate with all elements of the organization to have a complete understanding of the real-time capabilities that impact mission execution.
• Manage and supervise employees in accordance with company policies and company regulations.
• Recruitment and selection of candidates.
• Responsible for the onboarding process and employee offboarding.
• Performance evaluation and employee progress
• Drafting and updating of employment contracts.
• Prepare reports as required.
• Prepare the training program, maintain the training database and employee certification and licensing records to ensure training, certification and licensing remain current.
• Respond to employee inquiries on a variety of human resources (HR) related issues. Assist in counselling employees as required.
• Maintain control documents, forms, policies and work instructions. Propose improvements to policies, programs and procedures to improve human resource effectiveness.
• Advises employees and management on the interpretation of personnel policies, programs and procedures.
SAFETY AND SECURITY
• Development and implementation of the company's security and safety strategy: in coordination with the Program Manager.
• Supervision and coordination of all the company's security activities in compliance with the company's regulations and standards.
• Ensure that personnel safety requirements are met.
• Manage the investigation and response to minor complaints and grievances. Support and assist the Human Resources Branch in dealing with escalated complaints and grievances.
• Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications Requises
The Human Resources Safety and Security Manager must have:
• A university degree in Administration, Human Resources or other related field.
• A specific experience of at least 3 years in a similar position in the field of administration and/or human resources.
• A good knowledge of the Haitian labor.
• Strong analytical skills and administrative and computer skills.
• Excellent written and oral ability in French and English.
• Ability to work in a team environment in a multicultural environment.
