The armed driver is responsible for safely transporting valuable goods, assets, or individuals while maintaining a high level of security. This position requires the driver to possess excellent driving skills and the ability to handle firearms in a professional and responsible manner. The armed driver must be vigilant, alert, and able to make quick decisions in potentially dangerous situations.

1. Safely transport valuable goods, assets, or individuals from one location to another.
2. Maintain a high level of security throughout the transportation process.
3. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
4. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
5. Handle firearms responsibly and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
6. Maintain accurate records of each trip, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
7. Monitor communication devices for updates or changes in travel routes or instructions.
8. Stay alert and aware of potential threats or suspicious activities during transportation.
9. Cooperate with law enforcement agencies or security personnel if required.
10. Follow company protocols for emergency situations or accidents.
11. Any other task in the competence of a Driver.

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Completion of relevant driver safety and defensive driving courses is preferred.
• Additional certifications or training related to armed security or vehicle operations will be an advantage.
• Proven experience in NGO or international organization.
