Fonctions
Job Summary:
• Develop, implement, and monitor programs, protocols, procedures, and security practices to safeguard DHL employees, customer shipments, DHL assets, DHL brand and reputation and information against loss or damage.
• Oversee facilities management for the Service Center (SVC), the Gateway (GTW), and the Points of Sale (POS) of DHL International Haiti S.A.
• Advice country and functional managers about security related situations, issues or conditions that could put at risk the integrity of the DHL network.
Key Tasks:
• Conduct security audits to assess the effectiveness of security programs, measures, and practices in the network.
• Coordinate the implementation of relevant security training programs for country personnel.
• Conduct security-related investigations and inquiries as required by the DHL network. This includes not only Haiti but also French Guyana, Guadeloupe, and Martinique.
• Perform risk and threat analysis and implement necessary actions to ensure the integrity of the DHL network.
• Ensure compliance with DHL security programs, policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Liaise with local law & enforcement as needed by job related activities and situations. Develop and maintain solid relationships and contact with the authorities.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on shipment and security incidents.
• Supervise and train subcontracted security resources.
• Advise Senior Management Team on security and facilities management matters.
• Update communication plans and ensure effective communication in emergencies.
• Design and supervise the installation of security related equipment in DHL stations. This includes not only Haiti but also French Guyana, Guadeloupe, and Martinique.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Facilities Management Tasks:
• Oversee facilities management for the Service Center (SVC), the Gateway (GTW), and the Points of Sale (POS) of DHL International Haiti S.A.
• Ensure maintenance and functionality of facilities, including security systems, equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate repairs, renovations, and upgrades for a safe working environment.
• Develop and implement procedures for effective facility management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to address facilities-related issues.
Loss Control Management Tasks:
• Develop and enforce programs, manuals, standards, and procedures to establish controls to ensure shipment integrity, facility security and prevent losses.
• Supervise the generation of daily incident reports and use them to create standards and procedures to prevent losses in the network.
• Ensure compliance of programs, manuals, standards, and procedures to maintain chain of custody measures to ensure network integrity.
• Consolidate and analyze weekly statistics on claims and perform statistical analysis. Use them to create standards and procedures to prevent losses in the network.
• Maintain confidentiality of managerial reports, company data, personnel files, and investigations.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with security and control procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise daily operations of the selected security company.
• Supervise activities of security and loss control coordinators and personnel.
• Implement preventive control measures to avoid illegal or criminal activities in the network.
• Conduct intelligence activities to detect individuals involved in illicit activities.
• Investigate incidents threatening security and operations.
• Prepare reports for loss analysis in the network.
• Ensure the functioning of passive security measures.
• Represent the company before security authorities and courts when required.
• Foster relationships with security entities and relevant organizations.
Qualifications Requises
Skills & Qualifications:
• Educated to degree level and/or holding a professional qualification in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement.
• 10 to 15 years of management experience in criminal investigations in a multinational transport/cargo/logistics environment.
• Experience with local European laws, police agencies, and investigation agencies.
• Numeracy with managerial, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Clear articulation of concepts both orally and in writing.
• Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Training and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work under extreme pressure.
• Ability to analyze and resolve crime-related situations.
• Ability to maintain relationships with external security entities.
• French and English.
• Knowledge of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and European Union Aviation Security Regulation.
