In August 2022, The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded International Business Initiatives Corp. (IBI) the Evaluation and Survey Services Plus (ESS+) contract to support USAID/Haiti and its partners with evaluations, survey and study support, capacity building and learning events, and in-country third-party monitoring (TPM).

TPM will help USAID to better understand project results and the complex Haitian development context (including institutional norms and behaviors) through data collection and analysis. Unlike most USAID activities, ESS+ is demand-driven and depends on the Mission to identify its monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) needs. Recently, USAID has requested that ESS+ conduct TPM for different health-related activities. Accordingly, ESS+ is seeking individuals with experience in data collection to supervise monitors (data collectors) to support Health-related TPM activities throughout Haiti.

For this position, ESS+ is seeking local individuals experienced in output verification, data validation, and field activity monitoring to support Health-related TPM activities throughout Haiti. The Field Supervisor will be expected to visit health facilities as assigned by ESS+.

• Perform remote and/or in-person data collection in assigned areas.
• Follow close instructions to find patients and administer surveys.
• Conduct in-person beneficiary feedback in communities.
• Coordinate monitors’ work in the field.
• Oversee monitors field work to ensure compliance with protocols.
• Participate in debriefing sessions after rounds of data collection.
• Follow proper instructions to send data to the database.
• Submit daily report to the corresponding Regional Coordinator (if applicable).

• Post-secondary studies in a relevant field. A Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in relevant fields is a plus.
• Three years of data collection experience with one year of experience collecting data on USAID-funded activities.
• Effective oral and written communicator with the ability to deliver clear and concise verbal or written messages.
• Experience working in urban and rural areas and ability to speak a local dialect.
• Experience using electronic devices for data collection
