Introduction

Under the program director's direct supervision, the Office Manager will oversee all administrative operations of CORE J/P HRO offices set for the BHA-funded project in the South (including but not limited to Les Cayes, Jérémie, Beaumont other locations, as needed).
As a resource person, he/she will participate in the general coordination of the project. The office manager is responsible for the smooth running of CORE offices in the South on a day-to-day basis and manages a team of administrative or support staff; including operating office budgets. he/she will be liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients, enforcing and maintaining CORE's policies/ procedures/office administrative systems.
To succeed in this role, the candidate must demonstrate proven experience in a similar position.


Fonctions

• Ensure proper management of CORE offices (Electricity, internet, housekeeping, record keeping, and other related activities)
• Ensuring effective and transparent use of CORE's financial resources in line with donors and CORE's policies and procedures
• Ensure that CORE's procurement, administration, and finance policies are observed strictly
• Ensure segregation of duties is being observed in all field procurement process
• Ensure that CORE funds and properties are used rationally and effectively
• Ensure timely reporting of the operations of the office (Finance, Admin, Procurement etc.)
• Ensure effective vehicle fleet management
• Ensure that all field staff in the area abide by CORE's safeguarding policy, code of conduct, safety and security, and other Human Resource policies.


Qualifications Requises

Qualifications required: Education, Experience, Professional and language skills:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business administration, communications, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience with office management, procurement/logistics in emergency/ customs requirements
• Fluency in English, French, and Creole is preferable.
• Experience working in an international organization, preferably in an NGO
• Communication and interpersonal relations
• Problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented

- Ability to perform a high volume of work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines
