The Executive and New Business Development Assistant will assist and support Haiti Country Director in carrying out high-level program development, negotiations, communications, management, and fund raising. She/will be responsible for coordinating all activities that contribute to the smooth running of the Representation and ensuring effective communication between the Representation's management and internal services and its external partners
Fonctions
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain permanent contact with various local and international partners (non-governmental organizations, government, diplomatic representations, etc.) to ensure effective collaboration.
• Organize official audience between the Country Director and these partners and ensure follow-up
• Ensure PADF's presence in key events organized by these partners and ensure their presence at PADF events
• Partner with the global humanitarian network
• Develop with the Country Director an exchange plan with these partners;
• Accompany/represent, as needed, the Country Director in certain meetings, field visits, public events, etc.
• Ensure the constitution and maintenance of a partner’s database (government, local and international partners, etc.)
• Ensure that the CD receives all information (newspapers, internet, etc.) concerning proposals that may be of interest to PADF as soon as possible.
• Coordinate the preparation and presentation of new proposals.
• Coordinate all events organized by the Representation (meetings, workshops, conferences, etc.);
• Ensure, in collaboration with the Communications Officer, the visibility of PADF both in Haiti and abroad
• Perform any other related duties within the scope of its responsibilities.
Qualifications Requises
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
• Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Relevant experience in leading /coordinating the development of proposals
• High-level communication skills with both internal and external audiences. Must be fluent in French and English, understanding of Spanish a plus.
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and be able to multi-task.
• Confident in meeting and networking with partners.
• Confidentiality, discretion, organization, planning and service skills
