He/She will be responsible to overseeing and planning projects to ensure they are completed in timely manner and within the budget.
Fonctions
1. Manage Projects under the Power Department such as the following:
a. Generator Top Overhaul
b. Radiator Cleaning
c. Solar Rectification
d. EDH Rectification
e. External Alarms Connection
f. Grounding Test
g. Engine and Genset Replacement
h. Other Projects that may come
2. Manage teams assigned in the Support Group performing the project.
3. Provide Daily and Weekly Planning and updates internally with Talkpool and Digicel customer on all the projects assigned.
4. Coordinate with WH team to manage the Spares and Consumable required and tools
5. Coordinate with the Administration for manging the teams need of Cars and Petty Cash during the execution of the project.
6. Ensure the Requirement of the projects are handled properly such as:
a. Completion Report that is done in WFM
b. Reverse Logistics – Return of Faulty Units to Talkpool WH or Digicel WH
7. Attends Weekly internal Management Meeting
8. Attends Customer Meeting on Projects when required.
9. Follow up with the IMC or Digicel NOC for access related issues
10. Support the Management team in checking resources for the project.
11. Cost Control:
a. Manage the team expenses in the field including the Manutention Cost to spend the minimum.
b. Manage the site deployment and negotiate with the Crane Operators to get the minimum cost
12. Interact with following Department to get the job and activities done:
a. RAN Team – for External Alarms and Grounding Activities
b. Power Team – for Radiator Cleaning, Grounding test, Solar and EDH Rectification and Seal Replacement
c. IMC Team – for access and follow ups
d. Digicel Security – for Security Support and Access Escalation
e. Admin Logistics – For any vehicle needs and support
f. WH Team – for Spars and Consumables and Tools
Qualifications Requises
- computer skills and knowledge of relevant software related to Project Management (Advantage)
- With Strong personality and good communication skills
- English speaking
- Good inter-personal skills and very flexible person
- Can handle high pressure demands on work and targets and deadlines.
- At least 5 Years of experience Managing/Supervising Projects. Projects handled related to the Power Systems is preferred but nor Mandatory.
- Graduate of Electro-Mechanic Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a reputable school in Haiti or Abroad or certified Electro-Mechanic is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
