Introduction

Core Response is recruiting international and Haitian education, youth, alternative education, and at-risk youth specialists to apply for consideration to join our roster of technical specialists.


Fonctions

Responsibilities and Duties:
•Serve as lead technical resource to upcoming education or youth program design and development in collaboration with the existing Core Response education team.
•Coordinate research to capture lessons learned and best practices from projects and ensure documentation and dissemination to inform organizational project design, implementation, and industry best practices.
• Be considered for technical positions for upcoming donor-funded education and youth programs.
•Establish links with partner organizations, research institutions, and private sector actors to tap innovations and bring in complementary technical capacities.
•Supervise program management staff and field staff and provide mentorship to the program management team, if on-boarded as full-time technical leads for donor-funded programming.
• Provide programmatic and technical quality assurance to projects and participate in the management/backstopping of multi-year international donor-funded projects.
• Identify monitoring and evaluation, learning and knowledge management needs on international projects.
• Liaise with other staff members to share information regarding projects, to discuss field needs, and to develop strategies.


Qualifications Requises

Qualifications and Experience – Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (SKA)
•Master degree in education or related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant education program experience with an international organization in a development setting.
• Strong verbal communication skills and effective in representation and liaison with external actors, including government officials.
•Experience in providing technical assistance to government and/or organizations in teacher training, curriculum development, out of school youth programming and proven track record of success.
• Excellent spoken and technical writing ability in English, including report writing
• Excellent interpersonal skills, positive and professional attitude, ability to lead and work well in a team setting and with multiple partners.
