Program / Department Summary
Mercy Corps has been present in Haiti since 2010, providing humanitarian assistance and implementing programming focused on resilience and natural resource management, financial inclusion, youth and participation, and good governance. Our early recovery and development programs contribute to Mercy Corps’ overall vision for Haiti: Solutions are locally led and market-based, and communities are secure, equitable and are flourishing in the face of frequent natural disasters and economic instability. Mercy Corps’ vision for change requires the private sector, government and civil society to work together to create meaningful and sustainable change.
Mercy Corps is seeking a Gender, Youth and Social Dynamics (GYSD) Lead for the five-year USAID Resilience Food Security Activity (RFSA) for Haiti. The Activity will contribute to food and nutrition security for households and communities in four targeted departments.
