Lakou Lapè (LKLP) is a Community Association involved in peace building and conflict transformation in Haiti. It seeks to reduce violence and build transformed relationships in and between the different sectors of Haitian society. LKLP is seeking to employ a Development Coordinator (DC). The DC will work closely with the consultant and staff members to institutionalize funding and strengthen the LKLP public image (branding). Some of the main responsibilities will include:
• Strengthening public image through social media, website, douments, brochures, etc.
• Event planning and coordination
• Regular donor cultivation & relationship building (individual, corporate, media, etc)

Required qualifications
Education requirements and work experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, social sciences, development or other related field.
• 3 years of experience in working in development and management of NGOs or CBOs.
• 3 years’ experience in traceable fund raising activities for local or international Non-profit organisations
• Fluent in English and French with excellent writing skills. Fluency in writing and reading of Haitian Creole an advantage.

• Comprehensive ability in knowledge and use of Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Publisher and Social Media platforms
