Introduction

Project Medishare for Haiti (PM) is a nonprofit organization that empowers Haitians to provide and receive access to quality healthcare. We share our knowledge and resources with local partners to improve health infrastructure and grow the skills of medical professionals. We work with communities, government institutions, local organizations and global medical professionals to enhance the quality of life of Haitian families by strengthening local healthcare capacity. We seek a dynamic, self-driven and highly focused individual to join our Programs team in the Central Plateau. The Program Coordinator/Manager position is full-time based in Thomonde, Haiti and reports to the Country Director of Project Medishare.


Fonctions

• Implement and coordinate community health programs and projects in accordance with policies, procedures, and methods of the program model.
• Supervise and lead the team to meet and exceed established targets and deliverables.
• Work with the administrative team to ensure budget adherence and compliance with donor regulations.
• Establish and nurture supportive and highly collaborative working relationships with all internal and external program collaborators.
• Serve as point of contact and host for medical team trips from the United States
• Provide content for donor reports and proposals, adhering to strict deadlines for the submission of program and financial information.


Qualifications Requises

• Bachelor's degree required, MPH, RN or MD preferred
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in program coordination, nonprofit environment preferred. Experience working with community health programming an asset.
• Experience in program and strategic planning, budgeting, and implementation
• Experience working with visitors from overseas
• Fluent in speaking English, French, and Haitian Creole. YOU WILL BE TESTED
• Proficient in MS Office and Google applications
• Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Self-driven, solution-oriented, proactive, and highly committed to going ‘above and beyond’ in order to achieve successful outcomes.
• High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness
• Experience directly supervising staff to meet monthly and annual deliverables
