The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for information and communication technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for business and finance data processing, computer services, network communications and management services to accomplish the strategic goals and objectives of SFF. S/he works closely and efficiently with various departments at head office. This role will require a detailed understanding of measurements and metrics used to drive a successful and scalable, technology focused, customer experience organization, and an ability to engage and elevate teams to new levels of performance.
The CIO is a member of the Executive Management Team and Management Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO). The position reports directly to the CEO and attends and participates in Board of Director and Stockholder meetings.
Fonctions
• Collaborates with members of the executive team to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals.
• Identifies new IS developments and technologies; anticipates resulting organizational modifications.
• Ensures that IT and network infrastructure adequately support the company’s computing, data processing, and communications needs.
• Develops and implements the IT budget.
• Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department; plans ways to execute those goals within the department.
• Establishes long-term IS needs and plans and develops strategies for developing systems and acquiring software and hardware necessary to meet those needs.
• Direct and manage communication and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs, and schedules for business and finance data processing, computer services, network communications and management information services to accomplish SFF goals and objectives.
• Direct the information and data integrity of the institution and its business units.
• Consult with CEO regarding any deviations to established policy;
Qualifications Requises
• 10 + years of experience in administration of information systems and technology, with increasing level of responsibility throughout.
• An inherent understanding of the evolution and disruptors in the financial services industry;
• Must demonstrate superior practical and conceptual knowledge of banking products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French, and English and Haitian Creole, preferred.
• Bachelor’s’s degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology, Master’s degree preferred.
